"Where the circling leads"

On 19 April 2026, the two-person exhibition "Where the circling leads" at CASUCA HISTORIA came to an end.

The encounters during the show, reunions with old friends and relatives, exchanges with visitors through the works, collaborations on bandanas and labels.

All of it, just as the title says, became important events that lead on to what comes next.

I was also able to share a great deal of time with my fellow exhibitor Yuiko Hosoya, and feeling her vivid, delicate, captivating character up close made me truly happy.

Added to that, the charm of the place and of its director Tomoko Yasuno, and of the people they draw to them, was wonderful.

Thanks to that learning, stimulation and connection, I can feel that the scenery and relationships around me have changed a great deal.

For me it was an occasion meaningful enough to mark a turning point.

To Ms Yasuno, who gave me this opportunity; to Ms Hosoya, whose attentive care throughout connected so many people; to Mr Moriyama of Hasamaya Shuzo; to Ms Takehana, who prepared such stylish, heart-tickling food; to all the CASUCA staff; and to everyone who took time out of their busy lives to visit the exhibition — thank you so much.
