名前の由来
この古民家は元々酒屋で、軒先で角打ちをしておられました
近所の方が海苔をアテに一杯ひっかけていたそうです
一体どんな会話がされていたのでしょう
気取っていない交流の場って良いなあとの想いから、角打ちと名付けました

Hello, this is Hideo from flow.
flow is run by the two of us, Yu and me.
From 2012 we worked in Kashiwabara, Maibara, Shiga, under the name Watanabe Tateguten.
When we moved our base in 2024, we took our present name, flow.
■ What we do
◆ 1. Yamagen Stay & Retreat (retreat program and stays)
We offer a 2-night / 3-day retreat program.
We renovated a 120-year-old traditional house so that wheelchair users and people sensitive to chemicals can stay too.
Our concept is experience and connection.
We did the work ourselves, together with helpers who came from all over the world.
The important parts were left to professionals, so please rest assured.
Stays without the program are also available.

◆ 2. Salon flow (seitai bodywork)
Between person and person, environment and person, body and mind, organs and fascia and muscles and bones, the subjective self and the objective self —
we tend the spaces between these through seitai, healing, dialogue, art and other approaches,
aiming to help each client regain wholeness of body and mind, the ability to rebalance, and natural healing power.
One client per day.

◆ 3. Atelier flow (art workshops)
I explore how paints are made, the qualities of different materials,
and the techniques of expression, while working with what lies at the roots of art.
Private lessons: the fourth Saturday of every month
Otona no Atelier (for adults): the first Sunday of odd-numbered months (five times a year, March to November)
Kodomo Atelier (for children): held from time to time

◆ 4. Guitar flow (guitar lessons)
Beginner-friendly guitar lessons.
Staying close to each learner, we work on the parts that YouTube and apps cannot explain, until you can say “I did it!”
No rush, no comparing — let us enjoy it together ♪

◆ 5. Farm flow (rice-field workshops)
We offer traditional farming experiences and opportunities to connect with nature, all without the use of pesticides, fertilisers or machinery.
A rice-growing workshop centered on life itself, where grass and insects are valued as part of the field.
Over the course of a year, participants experience every stage of rice cultivation.
The rice harvested is yours to take home.

We offer carefully selected goods, made with respect for the environment and for those who produce them.
