The exhibition of original works, 10–14 December 2025, has ended.
Thank you, truly, to everyone who came.
This time I decided from the start to talk as much as I could with everyone who visited, and I tried to speak to as many people as possible. (Sorry if I was a nuisance 🙏)
Even so, when several groups arrived within a short time I couldn't manage, and there were some I never got to exchange a word with — that was a real regret. But these were five days in which I truly felt the meaning and the joy of holding a solo show, something I couldn't feel in my twenties.
People realising that the logo, flyers and leaflets that had been going around on their own were made by me, and being pleased about it.
Many people appreciating anew the installation pieces from my twenties, which I had thought perhaps shouldn't be shown any more.
Several paintings — over which I agonised about whether such a price was acceptable, whether the presentation was enough — setting off to new owners.
People finding a favourite picture in the portfolio and asking to buy it.
The workshops nearly full, everyone finishing a lovely picture, and kind words afterwards.
Someone who had quietly supported me for years coming from far away, meeting for the first time, and talking at length.
Through the works, talking with many people about our inner lives in ways we normally wouldn't.
Before the show, many people kindly helping to spread the word.
And so on.
There were so many happy things I could go on forever.
And after I got home on the last day,
I received several messages saying "I couldn't come this time for various reasons — please do it again",
which I also read with joy.
The gifts people brought I'm sharing with family and friends, and enjoying. The flowers are placed around the house. Today, while entering the names from the guest book into the computer, I remembered each and every person.
It was a meaningful five days that lead on to what's next.
Thank you all very much.
To those who wish to purchase works or commission pieces, I will be in touch in due course. Please bear with me a little longer.
Finally, my heartfelt thanks to Mr and Mrs Hayashi, who prepared such a wonderful space and supported me quietly throughout, and to my family, who watched over and encouraged me. Thank you.
