Parent-and-child vibe coding

We entered a competition I found on the university's Discord.
I learned of it on the 13th. The deadline was the 15th. The task was to build a web page using create.xyz.

A web page?? For the children it was creating something as an abstract concept, so they may have been working on it without really understanding.

I had only just come across create myself, and out of curiosity I wanted to try all sorts of vibe coding — so I called the kids over and it was rather like leaping onto an express train half by force.

At school, doing what you're told is good enough for now, but a competition isn't like that. Talking this and that over, we kept going back to the theme and re-reading it as we built. We could only make half a day, and it felt like time ran out just as things were getting going — but I think they enjoyed the new challenge in their own way.
